:::pendejo
this morning one of my students was having trouble paying attention and, thus, answering questions correctly. as is typical of sixth graders, the rest of the class was getting frustrated with him. one girl blurted out "pendejo!"
you should've been there to see how quiet it got. the girl herself felt like one, slapping her forehead complaining, "what was i thinking saying that!"
needless to say, i sent her out of the room for time out. although i should've done it earlier, at the end of the day i suggested she apologize to the boy she insulted.
